How Off-Site Parking at TYS Works

Four steps from booking to collecting your car.

Step 01
Book your space

Choose your dates, compare the lots at TYS and pay online. Your confirmation email carries the address, the lot’s hours and your instructions for arrival.

Step 02
Arrive at the lot

Drive to the lot rather than the terminal and bring your confirmation. Some lots need a printed copy, others take it on your phone. Allow 20 to 30 minutes for parking and the transfer, or an hour before a domestic flight.

Step 03
Take the shuttle

Where a lot runs a shuttle it is complimentary, and frequency varies by location, commonly every 15 to 30 minutes. Drivers will usually help with luggage. Shuttle times are on each lot’s listing before you book.

Step 04
Collect your car

Follow the return instructions on your confirmation and call the lot for pickup if one is needed. Any balance, oversized vehicle fee or extra time is settled with the lot on the day.

Self-park or valet

Self-park means you keep your keys. Valet means an attendant parks the car for you. Each listing says which it is.

Free cancellation

Most reservations can be cancelled without penalty up to 24 hours before arrival.
