Cruise Port Parking in Port Galveston with Rightway Parking

The Port of Galveston in Texas is the fourth most popular cruise port in the U.S, taking over 1 million passengers each year to destinations such as The Caribbean, Mexico, Belize and Honduras. If you’re planning to board a cruise out of this busy port it’s important to plan in advance for your parking, so that your vacation starts off as smoothly, and cheaply, as possible.

On-site parking at the Port of Galveston is the most convenient option, but with cruises that last from four to eight nights, long-term parking at the cruise port can cost well over $100, making a big dent in your on-board budget. Off-site parking with Rightway Parking can be a lot more affordable and you can relax safe in the knowledge that your vehicle is secure in a well-managed facility.

For as little as $13 per day you can park just one block away from the Port of Galveston - that’s $7 cheaper per day than the on-site equivalent. Rightway Parking only works with trusted private parking partners to offer safe, secure and professionally managed facilities with friendly staff on hand to help with any queries. It couldn’t be easier to sort your cheap Port Galveston Cruise parking - you can reserve a guaranteed parking spot with Rightway Parking’s easy-to-use online booking system at the click of a button.

On-Site Parking Options at Galveston Cruise Port

Galveston Cruise Port has three terminals and is located on Harborside Drive on the island of Galveston, close to downtown Galveston, and around 52 miles from Houston. The port services four major cruise lines: Carnival, Disney, Norwegian, and Royal Caribbean. Since August 2022, Royal Caribbean cruise liners have been sailing out of the new Terminal 3 at Pier 10, to the east of the other terminals.

Official on-site parking is available for all cruise passengers traveling out of these three terminals, and you can book in advance or drive up on the day. There are several different options to choose from, depending on how close to the terminal you want to park and how much you’re happy to pay.

The Economy Lots (A-D) are situated between 29th Street and 33rd Street and passengers parking here will have to take a shuttle to reach the terminal. Parking rates in these surface lots start at $65 for four days and go up to $110 for eight-day cruises. There are also two premium on-site parking options at Port Galveston - Express Lot (outside Terminal 2) and SMP Parking Garage (just across the street from Harborside), where you can park and walk to the terminal. Rates in these facilities range from $80 for four days up to $135 for eight days. At the new terminal, Cruise Terminal 10, there are three parking areas - North Lot, South Lot and Pier 14 Lot.
